Dear friends , I’m glad to announce that Bio Meditech System will be coming to IMU on the 16th of June in conjunction with our 1st Surgical Meeting . Bio Meditech System is a company that distributes medical tools. They are distributors of Riester products .
Some of these products that are useful to medical students include ophthalmoscopes, otoscopes , stethoscopes , tendon hammers , pen torches and combination sets .
Their recommended products are the e-scopes which would come in handy during your ophthalmology and ENT postings . The e-scope include both opthalmoscope and otoscope. They come in 2 colors ( black & white ).

There will be a booth for sale of these products during our 1st Surgical Meeting on the 16th of June 2012.
For those who are interested, do prepare some cash to purchase the medical tools during lunch time and refreshments .
A set of e-scopes range around RM 350 .
There are ATM machines (Bank Islam and BSN) in the hospital opposite IMU where you can withdraw money if you did not bring enough cash . Feel free to ask any of the committee members for directions to the ATM machines.
