President's Address

Tuesday 13 March 2012

I am currently in my final year medical based at IMU Seremban clinical school. I have always had a great passion about surgery ever since my pre-university years. Back then, that was one of the few main reasons which had driven me into pursuing a degree in medicine.

The idea of forming a surgical society came across me during my surgical attachment to the Royal Sussex county Hospital in Brighton, England. The two months experience has also widened my view and perceptions in regards to my preparation for future postgraduate career. The IMU surgical society acts as a channel for students who have inclination towards the surgical career path to interact and share information among each other. We also aim to motivate and at the same time, to expand the interest and knowledge of the doctors-to be in surgery, regardless of both theory and practical.

Any clarification or doubts, please do not hesitate to contact us via email at imusurgicalsociety@gmail.com or you can reach out to me personally at gosutuang@hotmail.com
Last but not least, I wish you all best of luck in your medical education and career. Study hard, give it your best shot and you will achieve good results.

Believe you can and you are halfway there. – Theodore Roosevel

Best wishes,

Eric Tuang Geng Ju
